We live closer to New China but we were on the other side of town so we decided to go to New China Two. Personally I feel the food is better at New China. But New China Two is more spacious and bright. The service at both restaurants is good. I would still go back to either one.
I had Prawns and Green Bean with pork friedrice. My partner had Mixed veggies and chicken. We both had special requirements on how to cook food in the ways we like and healthier. He asked very minimum sauce, I asked steamed with no sauce. Both dishes were done correctly and suprisely tasted delicious at the same time!
I used to enjoy fabulous Chinese food where I lived in Monterey CA, and I've tried many places hoping to replicate that experience. This restaurant has many of the wonderful dishes I remember. Today I tried the Mushu Chicken. It was just like I remembered it. The best Chinese food I've had in years. Beautiful, clean establishment, great service.
I love coming here for lunch, work, dinner!!! Wonderful atmosphere, friendly staff. Gina is a rock star and I'll come here anytime!
The food is great! The service is very fast. The employees are very attentive, they make sure your drinks need refilled or if you need anything else. We have always eaten the Black bean chicken, the chicken cuts with a fork and melts in your mouth. Prices are good and nice size portions. Two of us eat one meal and still have enough for another meal later. They are very courteous!

What's not to love at this place! Family owned and operated business. Quick service and food. Extremely nice lady that is always there. Such a fantastic Chinese food restaurant. Just the kind we were looking for. Authentic. Best Chinese in Redding. Best part is that it's very reasonably priced.
Tonight we tried New China Two, one of two locations in the Redding area. I’m gonna Segway for a bit and say, since my family and I relocated to Redding 8 months ago we’ve been very excited about trying new food spots, preferably local mom and pops in the area and New China Two has really pushed the bar high for me personally. I’ll say that their service is exceptional!! Top notch! You feel very appreciated as a paying customer and besides that they seem to carry a sense of pride for the food they serve and for good reason, it was incredible! And I couldn’t believe the price for what we received. We pay more for a family of four for some local fast food chains than we did for New China and the food was far superior. The family and are pretty excited to have had this and it’s right around the corner from home, which means take out! You design peeps will enjoy a very China inspired decor which was pretty cool with calming Chinese music in the background, great ambience! All in all, everything was better then expected and I highly recommend New China two, even if you’re traveling along I-5 and you get the Chinese food craving, do you’re self a solid and swing by and give em a try!
